Chimayó Cultural Preservation Association Grant Award
The ATADA Foundation has approved a grant of $5,000 to the Casa Martina Restoration Project in Chimayó, New Mexico. This grant will help the CCPA complete restoration efforts on the Casa Martina and make it more accessible for use by the Chimayó Museum and for public events. Once the restoration is complete, the building will be suitable to house museum artifacts, including blankets, textiles, paintings, and photographs, and to provide a space for rotating public exhibitions.
